Sixth Day on the Garden Island
Today was a day for visiting an art and craft fair at the Church of the Pacific where Miriam bought a bracelet of small sea shells from a local Hawaiian lady. This charity event included offerings of homemade chili, corn bread and cookies. Our next stop was at the Hanalei for a large farmers market to buy more fruit (pineapple) and the Wia ali Huia ia Church. After lunch its off to Hanalei Beach for a swim and walk along this very long beach filmed in many movies including South Pacific. We searched for the house filmed in George Clooney's recent movie "The Decendents" and found it. Lastly, we were invited by the owners of our condo to their unit for wine and confirmation of our observation. Kim and Paul are very nice people from Vancouver BC.
